“A Summer Dream” is a 2D/3D combined short film that explores the themes of nostalgia, dreams, and the Chinese American identity. It is told through a stylized 3D reality and whimsical 2D daydreams.

Synopsis: On the evening of Fern’s 22nd birthday, she reminisces about her Asian American childhood through three different dream worlds, bringing together Chinese folktales and blissful imagination.
